Moize Goulamhoussen – Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor
Moize Goulamhoussen is a Senior Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor at Designed Wealth Management, Toronto, and has vast experience and expertise in the finance sector, having worked within this industry for more than 20 years.

Mr. Goulamhoussen served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at BMO Nesbitt Burns, Toronto from October 2016, a position for which he was headhunted. During his time in post, he achieved a client retention rate of 85%, which was much higher than the industry average at the time of 70%. Mr. Goulamhoussen was responsible, among other things, for actively monitoring models and screens of his own creation, which cascaded into client portfolios; performing micro and macro analyses on sectors, companies, and countries; and collaborating with internal specialists to advise on risk management, private banking, charitable giving, and tax planning.
RBC Dominion Securities
From February 2011, Mr. Goulamhoussen was employed by RBC Dominion Securities, Toronto, initially as an Investment Advisor, before becoming an Associate Portfolio Manager in July 2013. In July 2015 he accepted the position of Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor. During his time with RBC, he advised institutional and corporate clients, family offices, high-net-worth families and ultra-high-net-worth families and was responsible for quarterbacking and executing relevant strategies where appropriate.
Hobbies & Interests
In his leisure time, Mr. Goulamhoussen loves to spend time with his family, cook, and travel – something he has done extensively. He also enjoys listening to jazz and lounge music. Mr. Goulamhoussen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from McGill University, Montreal (awarded in 2003), and is licensed as a Portfolio Manager by the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO). He is also options licensed by the same body. Mr. Goulamhoussen is a citizen of both France and Canada.
